All experiments performed by Redoxis follow the national laws of Sweden regarding the protection of animals used for experimental and other scientific purposes. The sufferance of all animals are always kept at a minimum by conducting strictly planned and controlled experiments, corresponding to the concept of the “3Rs” (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement) after Poll et al. (Principles of Human Experimental Technique; Methuen, London, UK, 1959).
