Redoxis will attend the 2009 Park Annual meeting organised by Sahlgrenska Science Park in Göteborg. Peter Olofsson will be available during all the meeting day for discussions about collaboration opportinities with Redoxis and ProNoxis.

Malin Hultqvist from Redoxis presented research on target identification and development of new treatments of Rheumatoid Arthritis using basic genetic studies at the Annual EULAR conference in Copenhagen 10-13 June 2009. THis was Redoxis first time to attent a more clinically oriented meeting, that gave us a view on the current treatment strategies and the drugs under clinical development for Rheumatoid Arthritis.

LU Bioscience AB (LU Bio) together with Karolinska Development AB and Redoxis have founded a new company named ProNoxis AB.
ProNoxis is a spin out from Redoxis and is focused around developing anti-inflammatory therapeutics that act through the NADPH oxidase complex (NOX2).
With the combination of expertise on drugdevelopment from LUbio and Karolinska Development, Redoxis can now focus the partnership in ProNoxis on strict development of novel small molecule drugs for treatment of RA using the NOX2 target. Redoxis will also continue development of other new treatment mechanisms and target identification for treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Redoxis was present at BIO-Europe in Milano 16-18 March. Redoxis had more than twenty one-2-one meetings with future research collaborators, venture capitalists and contract research labs. This was and excellent meeting to get a view on the potential future market for small drugs directed for treatment of autoimmunity.
