On demand assays
We have great experience in setting up and performing immunology assays according to specific needs. We have a fully equipped laboratory suited both for cellular analyses and analyses of secondary responses. Primary human PBMCs, primary cells from animals (blood/organs) with and without disease and cell lines are routinely used. Below are mentioned examples of methods routinely performed:
Redoxis have capacity to perform analysis of biomarkers and antibodies in serum and supernatant from study samples or samples provided by customer. We ruitinly perform ELISA, flow cytometry and luminex analysis of samples and this service can be customised to area of interest.
Redoxis have capacity to perform analysis cellular markers, changes in activation state, viability and function. We have access to both cell line and primary cells from both naive and animals with the disease of your choice. With flow cytometry we can evaluate cellular composition, cell marker expression and changes in populations.
We can perform functional assays depending of specific interest. We routinely perform studies of T cell activation and proliferation, Recall assays and chemotaxis. Please contact us for more information on how we can tailor a study to suite your specific project.
Recall stimulation - layout
Animal is immunised with antigen in adjuvant day 0 (for example CII or MOG)
After approximately two weeks, or at the end of the in vivo experiment if performed as part of a drug evaluation experiment, splenocytes are restimulated ex vivo with antigen for 24-48 hours
Recall responses are measured as production of IL-2 and IFN-g
ROS detection assays
Redoxis have a strong academic background in the field of NOX2 activation and detection of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) from cells. Setup and method of choice is dependent on pathway, cell type and area of interest. We will be happy to further discuss how we can be of assistance in planning and performing your specific experiment. Routinely used methods for ROS detection includes for example:
- Isoluminol enhanced chemiluminiscence
- Luminol enhanced chemiluminiscence
- Amplex red
