Malin Hultqvist

Chief Executive Officer

Malin Hultqvist

Malin has a PhD in Medical Inflammation Research and joined Redoxis as a Project Leader in 2008. After having a position as CSO and director of CRO services (2012-2016) Malin was appointed CEO of Redoxis in 2016. The combination of working with many different aspects of business development and scientific research is what drives Malin at her current position. Malin also has a special interest in redox regulation of the immune system.

Chief Operating Officer

Nina Woodworth

Nina has a MSc in molecular biology and started her career at University of Oregon and joined Redoxis in 2010 after relocating to Sweden. After a position as project leader (2012-2017) she was appointed COO in early 2017. Nina’s dedication to each project, her focus on customer relations and strive for highest quality makes her an invaluable link between internal and external colleagues. In addition to her position at Redoxis, Nina is the Director of the animal facility at Medicon Village, Lund.

Caroline Alkner

Head of In Vitro

Caroline Alkner

Caroline joined Redoxis after completing her master project at the company in 2012. During her time with Redoxis, Caroline has gained strong knowledge of various in vitro techniques including Luminex, Flow cytometry, ELISA and cell culture which in combination with Caroline’s research-oriented mind, organizational skills, eye for details has led her to the position as Head of In vitro (2021).

Scientific Director

Pontus Dunér

Pontus has a PhD in the role of specific immune responses in atherosclerotic disease and has a background in both academia and in the biotech industry. Pontus interest in business development in combination with a strong scientific knowledge makes him ideal in his position as Scientific Director. Special interests are inflammation, atherosclerosis, diabetes, and innovation.

Head of In Vivo

Pontus Kjellman

Pontus has a PhD in medical radiation physics with extensive experience in small animal imaging. He has both an academic and an industry background within the fields of oncology and contrast agent development. At Redoxis, Pontus is involved with all aspects of in vivo studies with a focus on planning and coordination.

Polyxeni Mantani

Director of Immunology

Polyxeni Mantani

Polyxeni has a PhD in cardiovascular immunology from Lund University as well as many years of postdoctoral and biotech experience as a researcher in the fields of chronic inflammation, metabolic diseases and immune cell therapy. Polyxeni joined Redoxis in 2023 and with her extensive experience in immunology, she will strengthen the immunological profile of the company and further develop Redoxis’ immune-related assays.

Alex Moreno Giro

PhD Student

Alex Moreno Giro

Alex is a biochemist with a master’s degree in translational medicine by the university of Barcelona and is currently pursuing an industrial PhD in a collaborative project with Karolinska Institutet (KI, Stockholm). Alex is working on the evaluation of antibodies as potential candidates for treatment of various autoimmune inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Alissa Marhäll

Alissa received her PhD in cancer research in 2018 and joined Redoxis as a project leader in 2021. With enthusiasm and determination sha takes on all projects coming her way. Alissa is adaptable, precise, and a fast learner and leads both in vitro and in vivo projects at Redoxis.

Katarina Miličević

Kedir Hussen Hamza

Kedir holds a PhD in immunology. He is an expert in IBD animal models and has extensive experience in other autoimmune disease models. Linda Reimer Rasmussen

Linda joined Redoxis as a master student in 2014 and after a few years gaining experience in other positions in the life science industry, Redoxis are now happy to have her back as an in vitro scientist. Linda easily handles changes, multiple parallel projects and new protocols with ease.

Mario Grossi

Mario is a biologist who earned his PhD in the vascular field at the Second University of Naples, Italy. After moving to Sweden, he started working at Lund University as a postdoc and then as an associate researcher. He spent more than 20 years in academia nurturing his personal growth, curiosity and creativity working with primary cells, cell lines, human/rodent tissues, and molecular biology techniques. Mario joined Redoxis in 2023 as an in vitroscientist with the goal of implementing innovative procedures and expanding the company services for preclinical inflammation studies.

Matilda Dehlén

Matilda has an academic background in economics and business administration and has been working at Redoxis since spring 2021, specialising in the accounting and administration of the company. Mikael Sommarin

Mikael joined Redoxis as a senior scientist in 2022, after completing his PhD in hematopoietic stem cell biology at Lund university. At Redoxis Mikael is part of the in vitro team where he uses his experience in flow cytometry and cell culture together with his enthusiasm for science to drive projects forward.

Olivia Trujeque

Olivia earned her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UNAM in her home country, Mexico, in 2019. After several years of postdoctoral training at Uppsala and Lund University, she joined Redoxis in 2023 as an In Vivo Scientist. Here, she applies her experience and expertise in Neuroscience and Immunology to contribute to the company's development of preclinical studies which is her real passion.

Roberta Batistella

Roberta has a MSc in Neurobiology from Sapienza University of Rome, and a PhD in Translational Neuroscience from Lund University. She has led different in vivo projects with particular focus on developing mouse models of neurodegenerative diseases. After a short period as associate researcher following her PhD graduation, Roberta joined Redoxis in 2023, where she will apply her in vivo expertise to expand the company in vivo portfolio to meet the needs of Redoxis´ clients.

Sophie Eriksson

Sophie has a PhD in oncology and a background in academia. She has extensive experience of targeted therapy and radiotherapy in animal tumor models and is an expert in immunohistochemistry. Her positive attitude and attention to details are great assets in the role as project leader with focus on in vivo studies at Redoxis.
