Pontus Kjellman, PhD, is Head of High-Resolution Biology at Redoxis, where he leads the company’s advanced tissue analysis capabilities, including histology, imaging, immunohistochemistry, and digital pathology. He is responsible for driving the continued development of these technologies and ensuring they are integrated into study designs to generate meaningful and decision-enabling preclinical data.
Pontus holds a PhD in Experimental Medical Science and has extensive experience in histology, tissue imaging, digital image analysis, and translational research. His expertise spans the development and application of advanced methodologies that provide detailed insights into tissue pathology, target engagement, and disease mechanisms.
Working closely with Redoxis’ in vivo and in vitro teams, Pontus helps design studies that combine functional and molecular readouts with high-resolution tissue analysis. By integrating multiple technologies and scientific disciplines, he supports customers in gaining a deeper understanding of therapeutic efficacy and mechanism of action across a broad range of inflammation and autoimmune disease models.
