Malin Hultqvist Hopkins

Chief Executive Officer

Malin Hultqvist Hopkins

Malin has a PhD in Medical Inflammation Research and joined Redoxis as a Project Leader in 2008. After having a position as CSO and director of CRO services (2012-2016) Malin was appointed CEO of Redoxis in 2016. The combination of working with many different aspects of business development and scientific research is what drives Malin at her current position. Malin also has a special interest in redox regulation of the immune system.

Nina Woodworth

Nina has a MSc in molecular biology and started her career at University of Oregon and joined Redoxis in 2010 after relocating to Sweden. After a position as project leader (2012-2017) she was appointed COO in early 2017. Nina’s dedication to each project, her focus on customer relations and strive for highest quality makes her an invaluable link between internal and external colleagues. In addition to her position at Redoxis, Nina is the Director of the animal facility at Medicon Village, Lund.

Head of In Vitro

Caroline Alkner

Caroline joined Redoxis after completing her master project at the company in 2012. During her time with Redoxis, Caroline has gained strong knowledge of various in vitro techniques including Luminex, Flow cytometry, ELISA and cell culture which in combination with Caroline’s research-oriented mind, organizational skills, eye for details has led her to the position as Head of In vitro (2021).

Pontus Dunér

Pontus has a PhD in the role of specific immune responses in atherosclerotic disease and has a background in both academia and in the biotech industry. Pontus interest in business development in combination with a strong scientific knowledge makes him ideal in his position as Scientific Director. Special interests are inflammation, atherosclerosis, diabetes, and innovation.

Pontus Kjellman

Pontus has a PhD in medical radiation physics with extensive experience in small animal imaging. He has both an academic and an industry background within the fields of oncology and contrast agent development. At Redoxis, Pontus is involved with all aspects of in vivo studies with a focus on planning and coordination.

Alex Moreno Giro

PhD Student

Alex Moreno Giro

Alex is a biochemist with a master’s degree in translational medicine by the university of Barcelona and is currently pursuing an industrial PhD in a collaborative project with Karolinska Institutet (KI, Stockholm). Alex is working on the evaluation of antibodies as potential candidates for treatment of various autoimmune inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Alisha Niskala

Alisha has a M.Sc in molecular biology and conducted her thesis project at Redoxis during 2020/2021. Alisha joined Redoxis in September 2021, working with both in vitro and in vivo projects and her positive attitude and openness to novel systems and experimental setups has lead Alisha to her position as our expert in 3D cell culture models.

Alissa Marhäll

Alissa received her PhD in cancer research in 2018 and joined Redoxis as a project leader in 2021. With enthusiasm and determination sha takes on all projects coming her way. Alissa is adaptable, precise, and a fast learner and leads both in vitro and in vivo projects at Redoxis.

Christa joined Redoxis in 2014 as an in vivo researcher and has a background working in several different companies in the life science industry. Christa has a strong practical knowledge and expertise in her area as well as an invaluable willingness to share and transfer her knowledge to others.

Elin Benatti

Elin has a MSc in biomedicine, and a great interest and experience within immunology. Elin joined Redoxis as a Laboratory assistant in 2021, before conducting her master thesis at the company in 2022. With an enthusiastic mindset and great organisational skills, Elin joined Redoxis as a scientist in June 2022, working with in vivo projects, ex vivo recall assays and FluoroSpot.

Jaime James

Jaime has a PhD in immunology from Karolinska Institute where she studied the role of redox regulation in T cell signalling and autoimmunity. She joined Redoxis as a senior scientist in 2021 and is a part of the in vitro team.

Kedir Hussen Hamza

Kedir holds a PhD in immunology. He is an expert in IBD animal models and has extensive experience in other autoimmune disease models. His passion for scientific discovery and ambition to help and impact patients’ lives are great assets in the role as scientist with focus on in vivo pharmacology studies at Redoxis.

Linda Reimer Rasmussen

Linda joined Redoxis as a master student in 2014 and after a few years gaining experience in other positions in the life science industry, Redoxis are now happy to have her back as an in vitro scientist. Linda easily handles changes, multiple parallel projects and new protocols with ease.

Matilda Dehlén

Matilda has an academic background in economics and business administration and has been working at Redoxis since spring 2021, specialising in the accounting and administration of the company. Matilda has a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset proven to be valuable in the administrative work.

Mikael Sommarin

Mikael joined Redoxis as a senior scientist in 2022, after completing his PhD in hematopoietic stem cell biology at Lund university. At Redoxis Mikael is part of the in vitro team where he uses his experience in flow cytometry and cell culture together with his enthusiasm for science to drive projects forward.

Sophie has a PhD in oncology and a background in academia. She has extensive experience of targeted therapy and radiotherapy in animal tumor models and is an expert in immunohistochemistry. Her positive attitude and attention to details are great assets in the role as project leader with focus on in vivo studies at Redoxis.
